This application is for Championship Fighting Alliance. Championship Fighting Alliance (“CFA”) is a Florida based enterprise that is working to raise awareness of the full contact sport of Mixed Martial Arts (“MMA”). Over the years, MMA has moved from an emerging athletic genre to a mainstream sport. MMA is breaking all stereotypes with its fan base and is quickly being embraced by a much larger and more diverse audience.
Jorge became aware of his love for the sport as a young boy in CUBA where he was part of a local Karate School. He arrived to the United States in 1994 and in 1996 he won National Karate Champion in Karate 2 for two years in a row. Jorge’s passion and devotion for the sport drove him to take the sport in a different direction. He envisioned the development of new skills and the opportunity to compete in a different arena where the development of other fighting techniques would be incorporated.
Due to a heart condition, Jorge had to abandon the sport. Being a 2-0 fighter at the time, this posed as a very difficult decision for him. His resilience however, allowed him to see the future of the concept that had been growing within him. In 2008 he held his first event in the City of Miami at the American Airlines Arena with an attendance of 3600 enthusiasts.
This event was a stepping stone to what was to come from Jorge De la Noval.
Today, Championship Fighting Alliance (CFA) was born and has risen to an even higher level of competition. Dr. Lazaro Fernandez, a well known and respected dentist who has been serving the community for the last twenty years has partnered with Jorge De La Noval and have committed themselves in taking CFA to reach a new peak of popularity. With these two successful businessmen at head, CFA’s future within the MMA sport can only soar to greater heights.
